We recently started updating the server. Hotstuff has plans to try and get the NS server popular again, although progress has been slow.
There was an announcement on the old forums but that has obviously been lost now.

Thats a shame, NS can be a VERY good game when people play it right. It just requires a little teamwork, a little strictness and bam, you've got an excellent server; just like the old days!

If you like im willing to help in anyway, money and server wise.

Major problem I've seen is that a lot of servers have gone very quiet with NS.
Some major ones are staying full like Yo but apart from that its gone quiet. Lunixmonster which was a big server in America is all but empty nowadays.

The unknownworlds forum problems didn't help. Plus stuff like WOW and BF2. Lets hope the NS team republicise it a bit and it will revive hopefully.

Lets hope so. I mean if we set a day and time when we know we'll all play Ns (aka, fridays at 7-8pm or whatever) maybe people will join with us and help gain popularity back to TheHavenNet's server? Thats what I think anyway!

I play NS every once in awhile, usually between the hours of 6:00am and 11:00am GMT

If there was an NS event or general time more people were on, I'd try to make it but timezones might get in the way a lot...

I still play on [VH2] on regular basis. [FX] went down :(
