Psst Bobby, I went alone :p Once you arrive and with people you regularly talk to ALL IS GOOD!

To be honest, I fail to see a safer "CLAN MEET" scenario, because there are Security all over the place, and you may leave when ever you goddamn like

One thing I thought I should add,

In your Profile set your Clan tag to "THN", no square brackets :)
And select the BF series as a place to sit, This way we're all together !

And no matter where you sit, you can play any game you like as its all on one giant network ;)

Thu 13 Dec 2007, 23:09
Ok, Seeing how I forgot to mention, The 20% off has been extended to the 6th of January!

So anyone who wanted to pay the discounted price, but didn't have the money before December 7th, you have an extra month to do so !

Also Nanor's mum now knows more about me than I do and apparently i qualify to be some kind of responsible person.

So come on people, now Nanor is coming everyone else must as well.

Also remember people the 6th of Jan is cut of for early discount, so get your order in.

Wed 2 Jan 2008, 10:36
in all seriouse now

who is driving up from my area? I will need a lift for at least my computer and tent and stuff. I can get to soton easily enough but newbury would be tricky. Let me know soon as so I can book my place.

And docbot, I think we should do another meet in the summer in Ireland maybe. Alot of people who arent going to I33 Id still like to see

Noddy
Wed 2 Jan 2008, 11:33
I've you're going from Soton, as and when Vibs knows whether he's going or not, he may be able to offer a lift.

Traxata
Sat 5 Jan 2008, 13:36
I love it Noddy! hiring out Vib's car :p

You could ask Alex for a lift Birdy, if he's going this time around, You'll have to check with bob on that one though

Also, we've currently assigned the BF series for where we shall sit, is anyone else thinking maybe we should move to the CoD area, although this all depends entirely where the different area's are going to be at i33.

We'll have to see when the first seating plan's released.

Noddy
Sat 5 Jan 2008, 14:40

I've just booked and paid today, without EAS (I understand you can do that later if we decide upon it) and for the Call of Duty area. I'm not really sure how I'm going to get there yet, but I guess I could hire a car if worst comes to utter worst.

Turn Up and Play Call of Duty 4 Tournament PC
Allows you to use one of Packard Bell's high-spec iPower Gaming PCs to play CoD 4 Tournament matches only.

This service costs £5.00 (including VAT @ 17.5%).

For those of you who don't want to take your PC, you can join in on specific tournaments on the iPower PC's

I'll keep a list of tourni's here as well as which ones we're going to join

Traxata

Right! so.

I33 & Hoodies.
(Yes I know I've hijacked my own thread but meh! :p)

Those of us who want them, we can't pay mister Fury, and then let him buy them all for us. You'll need to buy them yourselves, or we come to some sort of agreement between us to buy them...

downside with this is: we are mostly poor studenty types and thus can't afford to spend like £120 on hoodies, which would mean that we'd still need to pay one of us for them so we're not going to end up out of pocket for a little while :)

DISCUSS! :o

Birdy
Thu 17 Jan 2008, 18:40
Is there a problem with paying for hoodies and getting them deliverd to a diffrent address. If so i think we should all pay and then put in one persons addy.

Il have to check that out tho!

thatbloke
Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:27
Not that I know whether i'll be there yet, but what's so wrong with ordering them individually? How much really will be saved by doing them in a bulk order if everyone who has said that they want one actually orders one?

Traxata
Thu 17 Jan 2008, 21:35
£4 p&p on each one :p

thatbloke
Thu 17 Jan 2008, 22:09
£4 p&p on each one :p

so is it really worth the effort just to save £4?

If you order it yourself you can do it on your own terms then... (i.e. order it when you want and get it when you want...)

Dear Multiplay Gamer
i33 now live!

The UK's most popular LAN party is back as we launch our next i-Series event, i33. The Easter LAN is traditionally our most popular event, selling out for the previous five years. i33 is set to continue this trend with almost 700 people confirmed as attending already, leaving just 750 spaces left.
For the record there's less tickets left than we had at our smallest event last year and that sold out in less than 2 months. i33 is over 2 months away and will probably sell faster.
You don't need to work at Black Mesa to figure out that tickets are not going to hang around forever and that this, more than any other event, you will need to pay early (http://www.multiplay.co.uk/i33/signuppage3.asp) to avoid disappointment!
€10,000 CS: Source / €6,000 Call of Duty 4 tournaments

Our flagship tournaments for this event are CS: Source and Call of Duty 4 - both of which have huge followings at the i-Series and will be competing for the title of "most popular tournament", CS: Source looking challenged for the first time in years. Both tournaments have the potential to see up to 128 clans entering and whilst CS: Source has an impeccable track record, CoD4 has a lot of momentum online as the "game of the moment" which may translate into our largest Call of Duty tournament to date.
The most likely scenario is that we'll see large amounts of signups for both, which can only be a good thing!
To find out more about the rules of each tournament, their prize funds and how to sign up you should check out the Counter-Strike: Source (http://i33.multiplay.co.uk/tournaments/css/) and Call of Duty 4 (http://i33.multiplay.co.uk/tournaments/cod4/) tournament pages.
There are plenty of other tournaments, including Halo 3 on the Xbox, Unreal Tournament 3, Team Fortress 2 and World in Conflict - you can find more information about them all at Tournaments Central (http://i33.multiplay.co.uk/tournaments/).
Turn Up and Play returns

Packard Bell are returning with their Turn Up and Play area, a service for those who would like to play in certain tournaments but do not want to bring a PC. A TUP ticket allows players to use Packard Bell's high-spec iPower gaming machines or an Xbox 360 to play their tournament matches on, whilst in-between matches they are essentially the same as a day visitor.
The ticket is £30 and is particularly useful for overseas gamers who would struggle to bring their full PC over to the event. To find out more see our ticket types (http://i33.multiplay.co.uk/info/#types) information.
What else is there to do?

If you've been to an i-Series before you'll know that there's plenty to do outside of gaming. It is a place for gamers from all over the world to meet up and get to know each other in person, rather than from behind a computer screen. The social aspect of the i-Series is extremely important to many clans who are spread across the UK and Europe, who do not normally get to meet up face to face.
With our 400-capacity Finals Arena well established, visitors can come and watch exciting tournament finals played live on stage, with full commentary and multiple angles displayed on giant screens. The arena also hosts our ever popular "Pub Quiz" - a fun quiz to kick off the Saturday night which usually then ends up spilling over into the bar for 'fun and good times'.
Where can I get more INPUT?

Well Johnny, that's a good question, if only there was some sort of website for the event where regular updates, tournament information, venue and event details, contact information and forums could be all brought together...
... wait! There is! The i33 website (http://www.multiplay.co.uk/i33 (http://i33.multiplay.co.uk/)) has all this and more - check it regularly to make sure you're kept up to date and use it for things like requesting a seat (http://www.multiplay.co.uk/i33/seating.asp) or even buying your ticket! (http://www.multiplay.co.uk/i33/signuppage3.asp)
Remember to heed my warning - this event usually sells like hotcakes - get yourself booked (http://www.multiplay.co.uk/i33/signuppage3.asp) for i33 now and avoid disappointment later!

Right guys,

it seems CoD section is in the berkshire stand .. what do you guys think about this ? It is a little .... far .... from the main event in my opinion

If we go back to sitting in the BF zone .. we'll be in the main area ( and we can request the same seats that we had at I32 :D )

ideas ?

I'm not too fussed as we are all together. I'd prefer to be in main building but I'd also like to be around other CODers so I guess berkshire it is. It's not exactly like it's a long way away now is it.

Activision double CoD4 prize fund to €12,000

Some good news has just come in that will please our hordes of Call of Duty players - the prize fund has been doubled to €12,000 thanks to Activision meeting our initial €6,000 investment. The heat is really on now as the first prize means the winning team will walk away with € 6,000 and free tickets to i34 in August.
There's everything to play for in what's going to be an excellent tournament. The multiplayer FPS of the moment is going to take i33 by storm!
Check out the CoD4 page on our i33 site and air your thoughts on the tournament on our forum!
Don't forget to grab your i33 ticket whilst you're at it - we have roughly 350 spaces left and they're going fast!

They're actually not entered at the moment

they never do as they don't publish their teams and they don't need to enter as multiplay do what they are told. Dignitas dominated COD2 and nothing has changed in COD4.
