Can anyone recommend any decent game controllers similar to an X-Box 360 controller for Windows? Are there better ones out there or should I just get a 360 controller? Price range ideally would be around £20.

Not sure you'll get an X360 controller for £20, but it really is reliable and decent to use. Make sure it's the wired controller; the play-and-charge cable doesn't do the job on a wireless controller.

You can also get a receiver for the wireless 360 controllers, and it's relatively inexpensive.

That would be handy. I've a controller or two lying about, actually. This little bad boy? Only thing is it says in the description in large red writing that it's not compatible with Windows 8? Reckon are they covering their bases or is it actually not compatible?

Overclockers had a Microsoft wired Xbox controller for £20 a week or so ago, works well too :)
