Any particular makes / models that people find good / reliable? Any that people have heard bad things about?

I was recommended the HD103UJ (samsung spinpoint) a while back, but wondering if theres any other ones more recently out.

I've a lot of 1TB Western Digital green drives. I strongly reccomend them for reliability and low power / noise. Performance is fine, if you want silly performance buy a solid state disk instead.

Get the Samsung one.

I have one, it's still used in alot of hardware reviews on their test systems where they benchmark stuff, and is just an all round good drive at a good price.

Never had a problem with any Samsung drives either.
