Lynx,

Good info, but I have a suggestion to allow people to give you better responses:

Gather all the info you have collected that conforms to one type and drop it into a single post. You've got a mixture of "places to stay" and "stuff to do" so that might be two posts that people can reply to. Perhaps two separate threads?

Then, when you get more information, add it to the original post and use the [edit][/edit] markers to say you've updated the post. Of course, if people have replied then you'll want to add a reply of your own indicating that you've updated the original thread.

The problem in this current thread is that no one really know what they should read, in what order, and how best to respond to it. :)

Heathrow is a pretty expensive airport. If possible, you can go for cheaper ones, such as:

London Luton or Stansted (same price, just slightly different times) to Glasgow
Fri 18 August: ?15.99
flight 65
dep. 07:55, arr. 09:10

for a morning flight, or

?15.99
flight 81
dep. 20:50, arr. 22:05

for an evening flight.

Glasgow to London Luton (or Stansted - same price, different times again)
?20.99
flight 66
dep. 06:15, arr. 07:30

morning, or

?15.99
flight 82
dep. 19:10, arr. 20:25

for the evening.

More flights available on EasyJet. Virgin flights only go transatlantic by the looks of it, so meh. BMI do Heathrow to Glasgow, at ~?71 return, but again, its more expensive due to being at Heathrow.

NB: All prices are one adult, full price.

Just thourght i'd say i think that the 18th to 20th would be a cool time to go as it will be my 16th on the 19th therefor you would have an even better reason to get drunk :) and for me to :p

lol - sounds good missy - Also Nanor I cant give you rep points, I have to spread them around more apparently I give you too many :! LOL - Im being bias as Heathrow is very easy to get too, would cost me another ?50 to get to Luton or Stanstead and instead of 20 mins it would take well over an hour or so
