Just signed myself up - not sure what I want to go see but I definitely want to go and see something whilst its on.

I think Hockey, Cycling and Swimming are strong contenders for things to see (assuming that athletics gets sold out very quickly).

What do you fancy going to see ?

I personally will prefer watching it at home, I think.

I have nothing against the Olympics but as with any such event like this, the prices of everything are about 2-3 times higher than usual (particularly for accommodation) so I'm not going to bother.

I'm not too bothered what the ticket price is as long as I can afford to pay it. I'm not missing out on the chance to see some Olympic stuff.

I'd like to get to see as much as I can afford/get tickets for. It's not like this is something that happens regularly even if it is at an expense I think it'd be worth it for the atmosphere alone.

Hoy, :)

I'm a Winter Olympics kind of guy.

That and I don't live anywhere near London...

I guess I'll be missing out. :)

Cheers,
J.

I may have also applied for these, also done a few other gold medal days.
I'm reckoning on really not getting all of them. However am very much keeping my tax rebate until I find out :D

That thing they're calling hockey is not hockey. I'm obviously in a position to know.

Yeah. I can't say I particularly like the idea that the first that you'll know whether your applications were successful is when your bank balance goes into the red. They tell you like weeks after they take the money..... hmm.
