A bit of RP organised by us.

I had a brain wave this morning for a money making venture that our guild could do.

How about we put on a play, a scence or two of something vaguely shakespearish. Obviously with the names of places and the character names changed. And announce it on the forum as an RP event.

We would need an announcer, someone to sell refreshments, someone to sell tickets (five or ten silver admission/or a donation of items) and four or five actors with costume.

What do you think?

I say this, because I was RP busking Hamlet in Ogrimmar and a very high level character gave me ten gold.

We could even sign autographs at a mail box by sending notes to people.

This sounds insane enough to be plausable. I take it you used one of your human skulls in the hamlet piece

So where do we get costume pieces from ? and which play do we want to do - midsummer nights dream is the obvious one. If we get a druid then he can cast bramblethorn for the hedge

Beware though, these things take a lot of organization!

Just a thought on the costumes front, you could get 'ordinary' clothes of the type you can buy from vendors or make with tailoring. Switch your armour out for a dress, shirt and trousers, etc and that might do ...

I'll work on the idea... and keep it simple. Maybe something along the line of a laurel and hardy script followed up a short scene of something with gravitas. Or maybe even the reduced Lord of the Circular band company, kinda LOTR in twenty minutes.
