A very weird occurence.

So today at 3pm I get a frantic message from my Dad telling me to call him, and I find out that my pet dog, who I have known and loved for 10 and a half years, died this afternoon. :(

The weird thing? Well I instantly came home from uni, laid down and had a hug, etc with the missus to try and console myself, then whacked the telly on and for some reason ended up watching blue peter. On the show, they introduced a new cat which was the "newest member of the Blue Peter team." They named him on the show. Called him Socks. Which just happens to be the same name as my dog.

I'm sorry about that TB, but if it's any consolation take comfort that your family pet's memory will be living on, safe in the blue peter studio :)

Yeh it always blows when a pet dies. My cat Smokey died not too long ago at the age of 16. I know thats real old for a cat but I still miss her :D

Sorry to hear about your dog. My sympathies.

It's strange how coincidence seems to come upon us. I wrote a story once, when I was nine years old, about a robot called Rob 100. Would you believe that only a week or two later my parents showed me a magazine with an advert for... a toy robot called Rob 100. I have a feeling it might even have been New Scientist, but that could be a child's memory making that up.
