Right, as promised.
Firstly, let me say thanks to Throm for posting the above. Your right.
We have had a few problems getting people into the Kinship, and keeping them.
Although we do have alot of very good THN members, people who are always good to play with, and are awesome to have on TS, they have not been active past about the 16th of June.
So my first point is : Where are you guys? I obviously dont (and morally can't) have a problem if you dont want to play LOTRO any-more. I appreciate you putting the time in to give it a go, but I would like to know if you have decided to stop.
Second point : As Throm said, we have not been able to put together a Kinship-only instance run. Partly this is because we dont have enough people, partly it is because we dont have people of the right classes, and partly it is because were on at different times. Once again the soloution is : more people.
Point the third : I dont have a problem, as I would in WoW, with en masse recruiting. The community is superb, the people are superb and it is very, very rare you find an undisireable player.
So, what do we need to do, and what will I be doing? :
Firstly, and most obviously, we need to recruit. As such I will be promoting all our active players (Vel, Me, Throm and Bex, plus anyone else who I can find who has actually been around) to officer. Please use this position wisely, and RECRUIT!. There are two ways to recruit :
1) - Put a message in /regional every 15 mins or so
2) - Do a /who search for players 6-12, find the unkinshipped ones and whisper them. Having people new to the game is always good, as most of us are pretty new. THN is superb at looking after and involving players new to a game.
Secondly, im going to be getting in touch with all the THNers who either did play or said they wanted to play, and im going to find out whats going on. I would appreciate it if you would all ask your friends if they are interested. Remind them it is FREE.
Thirdly, im going to try and be on a fair bit more. If everyone could try and be as active as possible, then that would be superb.
Ill post anything else that occurs to me when it occurs to me.
