I hear stories of more and more people being hacked (just today one of Rhya's Alliance side guildies got hacked, and their entire first tab of the Guild Bank emptied), so I would like to point out the merits of Blizzard's security token. To quote the Blizzard site;

Account security is very important to us. As we have recently seen a rise in the number of compromised World of Warcraft accounts, we recommend you to take a few moments to read these tips to help protect your privacy and ensure your security.

1) Verify that your email address in Account Management is current. You can see your address on the right side of the Account Management page and change it with the “Change Contact Info” button.

2) Make sure your operating system, web browser, and other software is up-to-date with the latest patches and security updates.

3) Scan your computer for viruses, Trojans, and key loggers.

After doing this, we highly recommend changing the password on the account to a brand-new, unique one, and making sure to keep this password private.

These simple steps can go a long way in maintaining account security. If you are seeking an additional layer of security, consider purchasing the optional Blizzard Authenticator, available at the online Blizzard Store. I got me the keychain-token thanks to a friend with a credit card, and I must say it is just nifty. No hassle to implement, and it gives loads of peace of mind. I know not everybody has a credit card, but maybe we could set up a system to buy them anyway? Anyone with a credit card willing to volunteer? Maybe buy them in quantity as <The Haven> and send them on to the people that want one for the cost of the token + postage?

If people want one but cannot buy one due to lack of a card to buy one with then I don't mind sorting something out for people.

They should start selling the authenticators in game shops though tbh...

What is this authenticator/keychain token? I has a credit card, but dont know anything about those.

Those are cool, but I seriously doubt they have them in CzR and having them shipped sounds quite costy.

Mine was shipped over from Germany.

It's 6 Euros, or £4.80 in the UK, the postage cost me more than the item itself - but still it was about £11.50 in total inc. P&P
