[Tech] Adding an internal blu-ray drive...

OK, my current PC has a DVD and CD burner, and a DVD (read only) drive. I want to add blu-ray, replacing the DVD drive (no room for three with a front panel). Burn facility is not strictly necessary, but thinking forward, you never know, so if it's not much extra £££ then it might be worth it.

So, opinions sought!

What to go for - player only, or burner?
Is it worth paying a bit more for a decent brand (Pioneer seem to be well regarded).
Where to go? Ebuyer, Overclockers, PC W*rld (yeah right, just kidding), or any small independent retailers anyone cares to recommend?

I think I got mine from ocuk or scan. Most of my stuff comes from one of those two. Make sure you have bluray software, or buy the drive that comes with it, otherwise itll be like "lol. wont play".

I got an LG Blu-Ray drive that came with PowerDVD but it went "lol, you can only get stereo sound unless you pay us an extra £200", so I'm kinda dubious about internal blu-ray drives these days. . . .

Though I think you can get codec packs that will let other media programs play them.
