AlienSwarm bans thread & forum permissions.

There's a slight issue with the [thread=966]ASw bans thread[/thread], being that, because it's in the ASw forums guests are not able to see it. Then again, because it's so specific i can't really think of a better, public place where the thread could belong.

Would it be possible to have the forum visibility kept the same way it is, but allow guests to see it if they have the manual URL for it, or is the thread better placed in "Tell the admins" or another public forum?

For now i've resorted to taking a simple screenshot of it in firefox (with the screengrab extentsion ) and posting it up on my webspace, in order to show it to JimAM who dropped by in IRC today.

Thoughts would be appreciated.

That thread could probably go in the Server News & Announcements section. It applies, and it's public.
