An Interesting Proposition...

Ok so this is basically going to be a mirror of what I have posted up on this other guild's website.

To cut a long story short, I am looking at forming a raiding alliance with this guild, The Angels of Damnation.

This is following a conversation I had with a guild member of theirs called Razaak. Those of you around for the UBRS run we did last night will have met him, and I have grouped with him on a couple of instance runs this week too.

This guild seems to be like-minded... They want to experience the end-game instances but without the sometimes elitist attitudes and rules of the larger raiding guilds.

I have made a post on their website here so go and read what I have said.

I want to try and get these guys in on this weekend's raid, so we can bolster our numbers to be able to sufficiently do it with a full group.

Unfortunately due to RL commitments I will not be around this weekend to do most of the ZG runs, however I should be available for future runs and if I ever get my life sorted and get a proper 9-5 job I will be on alot more at peak time

What do you think?

Should we try and make this work?

Its a nice idea, we already have such a relationship with the Ashen Order and Bloodpact. I think we should probably abandon bloodpact now and maybe replace them with TAoD ... or we could pull TAoD into bloodpact.

Who knows, lets do a run or two with them and we'll take it from there. To start with we need our own guild members to sign up to our forums and wow raid system. Until that happens our raids are going to be a mess. But TAoD are welcome to come and sign up as well. I'll create a guild section for them in a moment and we can take it from there.

sounds good, Razaak seems like a good person and player. I talked with him a fair bit as well after some ubrs runs.

ok I've posted and invited them along for this weekends raid. We may start using DKP (depends if I have time to list the rules and get things sorted or not).

Which DKP system? The one I suggested, or another one?

I do have one in my head - based on experience with AO and other guilds - similar to yours but fewer negative rep calls.
