Angi - Gear Upgrades

Hello hello all you bunch!
I'm quickly approaching the point, where I don't know how to further upgrade my gear unless the guild progresses further into 25 mans and ZA. So here I'm turning to you asking for directions which pieces I can upgrade with something in the content currently available to me.

I will be getting the badge ring (Aveena's Touch) and in the farther future also the mace (Gavel of Naaru Blessing). The badge chest won't be necessary, as I have the ZA robes in bank waiting for gems.

I would like to break the PMC set soon, but I'm missing any shoulder replacements (will be hoping for T4 from Maulgar) and the only belt I currently have is the Cinched from ZA, which lacks spirit and I don't like that. I might get myself to grind mats for the Belt of the Long Road, but that also won't be tomorrow and 600g or so for the Vortex will hurt.

Grab the carved witchdoctors stick and gem it for healing (badge reward).

Work on your shattered sun rep to get the pendant of restoration.

Those would be the next two things you need to look at - its also worth working on some PvP heal gear so that you have stamina pieces you can swap in and out in fights where you need it - I particularly recommend the neck pieces and rings to start with.

When we get the bank back, Angi, there's at least one Nether Vortex among our collected stuffs, and if it's to help your gear be upgraded in that manner, I'd personally say that you'd be welcome to it.

Also, as Haven said, one or two Stam pieces can help for some fights; I seem to recall the Vindicator ring being quite good, but I haven't looked in ages so I could be mistaken.

There's a nice healing belt from the first timed chest in ZA (Cord of Braided Troll Hair) which is the one Elauria has.

Anyhow, Raz, I have the Cord of Braided Troll Hair, but as it lacks any spirit, I don't really like it.

I will look into the wand business, thanks for pointing this one out to me, altough the one you pasted lacks any spirit too and me not likee that.

I got the Pendant of Restoration, but a) no spirit b) I'm not Aldor exalted *blush*.

I got a couple of PvP pieces, the blue rep set and S1 shoulders. Will take this as the last priority

I'm not all that big on gear knowledge myself, mate, so take these fine folks' advice over mine any day.

Other than that, I too have been pondering on when to break the PMC set, and it's probably going to be via badge rewards...

We shall see.

Yeah i agree all my gear now needs upgrading and the best place i have seen soo far is the badge rewards in QD there are some very shiny things there

the wowarmory does have a "search for upgrades" function, wich can be quite nifty.. it could give you an idea of what to get, if you havent noticed it, you just search for your char and click a piece of your gear
