...I have been getting a message for the past 20 mins stating that "The server is too busy at the Moment. Please try again later."?

Slightly annoying

Especially when the main page loaded up for the first time with no problems, then I clicked new posts and then for 20 mins every time I try to load the games.thn page i got that message. Slightly strange when there were (at the time) just 4 currently active users according to the funky little box on the right...

Is there some kind of issue that may need to be looked at here?

Nah... it's a known issue. The server is under a lot of stress at the moment but I think some rejiggling of the processes has now lead it to behave a bit better in future - for example the BF2 server had more priority than normal for the clan match and wasn't changed back. *goes off to slim down the comedy site*

I am having problems replying to the Development mailing list (as is Dez, we keep getting develivery notifications saying the email has failed).
My reply to the last email is that I will shut down the CS server just now as it isn't being used. I had forgoten all about it.

Bleh - Zen DNS has gone down - saratoga is now relying on its own DNS server for resolves (it should have been anyway had I remember to move it over ). Try again now.

Don't know but if it can be up for 7:15 that gives us some time to sort it for the match.

Just a small update...

Various things are going on behind the scenes to see if we can mitigate the performance issues. Ultimately, we need more memory in Serenity, but the 1U racked box can't actually take any more memory...

We'll post something more when we've done what we can.
