Over the last two months or so, when I have been building Ulduar groups, I have been drawing from a fairly limited pool of people based on gear, assuming that we needed only what I perceived as "our best" in order to succeed. This left many people out when they were perfectly fine to come along to Ulduar.

For this, I apologise. I underestimated your capabilities and because of this denied you some opportunities to get at that content when you deserved to.

From now on, I'll try to be more considerate about this, and do my best not to leave people out based on incorrect assessments and presumptions.

The Ulduar ones already do, as do Wintergrasp (and I think Strand of the Ancients) ones. Sure, Oculus and EoE are getting it as well, but that's not really had any bearing on the decisions I'm referring to

I'm sure that the next time we have a go at him in the 25 man version we'll get him down. We did amazingly well considering we had so many people along who had never been there before, and they all did an excellent job. I remember being a total mess the first time I was there :P

I had a post prepared for this thread yesterday but for some reason didn't post it, so here I go again :)

Yes, we should try everything we can with as many groups as possible - I was quite surprised when some two weeks back the Ulduar 10man group with T-Bone, Bex etc. did fairly well :) It sure wasn't our ALL STARS team, but it was mostly fun and tought people about the fights.
At this point I would like to thank T-Bone for coming with us. I sometimes felt like that some of the officers seclude themselves from the common crowd I am, this certainly proved me wrong - cheers, man.

Uhm, so, yeah, let's do stuff with all sorts of people. It'll give them experience, contact with the content, motivate to be better if we mix the rosters a bit and be cool overall ^^
