Are you looking forward to Insurgency?

If you've been [thread=4230]keeping up with current events[/thread] then you'll know that an interesting new Half Life 2 mod is going for its first public release pretty shortly: Insurgency.

It looks like it's a game that might support a smaller number of players and still be a real laugh, without being capped at an overly small number -- I imagine 8 to 12 of us could get together and still have great games on our own server!

You looking forward to it? Couldn't care less? Cautiously optimistic?

It looks quite interesting, so I'm one for the "cautiously optimistic" approach... the reason for caution is to see whether or not it can run well on my laptop... :/ (a challenge most games unfortunately fail)

Do you need HL2? Or will HL2:dM also run it? Cause I got DM free with CS.

I believe you need access to the Source SDK, which comes with HL2, HL2M and others... if I understand correctly.

free total conversion, only half-life 2 and steam required

I can't wait to try this!
