[AVP] THN server Map Rotation

Okay firstly this is for the people who're playing AvP on saturdays.

We need to decide what maps and gametypes in what rotation we want to do and score limits / time limits ...

Available Maps

The following is a list of the currently available maps for the "addmap" command.

Please note that there seems to be a problem with the Survivor (SV) game mode in this release, so the maps Mausoleum and CBlock aren't listed blow and will not be listed as available until support for the Survivor game mode is added in.


- Jungle
- Ruins
- Temple
- Pyramid
- Gateway
- Refinery


Possible Game Modes

The following is a list of the game modes needed for the "addmap" command.

- DM (Deathmatch)
- PH (Predator Hunt)
- TDM (Team Deathmatch) *See Q&A for how to fix bug
- IN (Infestation)
- MSTDM (Mixed species TDM)
- DOM (Domination)
- SV (Survivor) [Not Available With Current DS-Tool Release]

If people would like to propose certain orders for this, I can add them to the server config

And note for moderators... please don't move this thread to game server discussion as most people who're playing, don't have access to it

Are Jungle, Gateway, Refinery the only dom maps?

I think it worked well the other day to have no score limit on domination, and just time, is there a way for non server mods to change the game mode, even if the map rotations stay the same? Also, is there a skip map command?

No in the beta at the moment all I can do is run it as is, which is why I wanted a map rotation setup incase I'm not there.

I think as long as the max round time is not over 15 min, we should be good with whateevr you like,

Sounds good, as long as Pred hunt is only 10 or 15 minutes long and/or the score is low.

I just tried to remember the ones we used last Sat, and i know people loved Infestation on Temple.

Oh, Just threw PH in there for a bit of variety, I'm not a massive fan of it, but it is fun in its own way.
