Batman Arkham Asylum a new way to fight pirating?

Loved this story, Eidos have put a "hook" that stops Batman gliding if the game is a pirate version . Very nice way to stop people pirating the game..... probably there are ways around it but still clever.

It's a good idea, but It's already been cracked with the Glide function, Glide kick and all that jazz enabled.

I'm not in anyway condoning it, but they'll have to do a lot better to stop people getting round these kinds of things.

Yeah indeed, like the one in the settlers (2 or 3?), when the iron ore furnaces started producing pigs instead of iron bars in the pirated version.

I mean what about when we go VR? I can just picture it now.. pirated version of a game somehow messes with your mind and makes you jump off a cliff. Piracy fixed overnight?
