[BC2] THN BC2 Gathering! - but when?

Sooo myself and silk have just been chatting on IRC about Bad Company 2 and how we might like to get a whole bunch of us together, playing at the same time.

So long story short, when might people want to do such an event? I'm thinking either in the evenings from about 8ish (but not Wednesdays so we don't compete with TF2 night!) or on a weekend afternoon...

What would people suggest?

Or should I just pick a time?

I can't comment on when I'm free currently. But If I get this new job, I'll have evenings off. *dance*

I'm thinking of maybe running it for a few weeks, and if people seem to like it I'll make a calendar event for it every week :D

ok I'm going to go ahead and say let's all get together from about 7.30pm for a couple of hours next Tuesday evening (Jan 18th).

I'll find a conquest server with a decent mix of maps and assuming enough of us, we can seed an empty/nearly empty server or we can find one that is in the process of filling up.

My suggestion for future events would be that we alternate the game mode we aim to be playing each week between conquest and rush, either that or we try and find a mixed mode server.

Ooo I could be tempted to come along for a bash at this... will have to reinstall BC2 on the new beasty :D

By the time I got BC2 not many were playing it much.

Yeah would be up for this but i am working lates on that week. If you guys do do it weekly though i'll catch it the week after due to my early/late rotation. Be nice to get back into the game after such a long pause

Like this a lot. My job is very flexible (i.e. I go in when I can be arsed) so can do whenever with a few days notice :).

The plan is to be online (and on TS if you want) and to find a pub server somewhere and play together for a couple of hours, and see what happens...

well that was a load of utter fucking shite - I have spent the past 40 minutes attempting to log in, attempting to pull a server list, not having my unlocks and the game then crashed on me for the first time in a number of months, so I have given up for the night. I know Panda was having serious issues too...
