BF2 Night sometime??/

After Playing BF2 tonight with a few of the older guys, I feel that it's time to post a thread for anyone interested in a Bf2 night. I really enjoyed playing with a squad that actually works as a team for a change . I dont know if Piacular and Bambi visit the forums anymore, but Fury, El-D and the likes were also playing tonight so maybe they can nudge them and maybe get them to join a weekly event kind of thing.

Anyway this thread is nothing more than a propostion. I think it would be really good fun if we good get 6-12 people on a server and dominate it something awful . I think we have forgotten how good fun BF2 actually was for THN. So this is simply a thread to see who'd be interested in a regular BF2 night .

The game is rubbish when playing by yourself, but in a squad of THNers, it's just so much fun! Gizmo has played a bit in the last few days too, and thatbloke was up for it too! I'm sure we could get enjoy people involved for an interesting few evenings at least. Not sure how long a weekly event will last though.

Still, I'm in!

Was such a laugh last night. Got a major burst of hesterical laughter when Piacular ran me over in a jeep, ressuccitated me then looked in disbelief as i nicked his jeep and sped off into the distance

I was rather drunk while typing this thread hence the spelling mistakes . Anyway how does everyone feel about a Sunday night? I believe that was the night we used to all play BF2 so it seems appropriate.

I'll need to try and find my install disk for it, been a long while since I played but I always loved the squadyness of BF games. Nothing like all but one man going down on a point then with some ramboesque defribing watching the whole squad pop back up and destroy whoever took the point.

Or sitting in a helicopter with Bob on one side and Kavina on the other and a whole bunch of randoms in the back. I fly in, Bob and Kavina saturate the place, everyone jumps out, I fly and hide, they cap the point and I collect them. Repeat until you've won.

I'm SO up for this! This is exactly the reason I joined you guys in the first place! Talk about nostalgia, I still remember the day I played with you guys, twas on Sharqi and we owned all the living! Played this quite recently which revived some of the memories, but it's boring when you're all by yourself......So Sunday night it is? I'll be there!
