In Cryo Sleep
Hi,
Just a quick post to tell you about this little tool I found on the EA forums, Its a tool to tweak the settings of the game and most importantly give you the ability to have multiple settings for each situation.
In Battlefield 2 you were able to adjust the sensitivity of the mouse while on-foot, driving and flying but they decided to take this out.
They left all the workings in the game just no easy way of changing it. So the Evil-Minds Clan have written a program that will allow you to do this plus lots of added little extras including advanced detail settings and render modes without the need for shortcut commands.
Its easily used and has a pretty simple GUI thats easy to negate and will have low end users of Bad Company 2 loving the little graphical tweaks.
You can change the Field of View with the slider upto 120 degrees! If you do turn this dial up to 120 it will be very reminiscent of Quake/UT2K4 but if you have eyefinity this would be awesome.
Here is the official page of the program http://goo.gl/pTa4
A couple of things I did notice though... if you have set a render mode and you find the game halting a little... set it back to auto.
For a major performance boost turn down the shadows!
and another thing... enjoy
