Blood Bowl: Legendary edition 75% off this weekend!

For those of you who don't already own it, you may have been following our THN Blood Bowl league with some interest.

In the near-ish future we will be starting a third league, and for this weekend the game is 75% off on Steam and is now £7.49 for those of you in the UK (no idea on the € price!). So now's a very good time to get the game and learn the ropes before our next league starts :)

go get it :)

I would also considering holding off the purchase of the Cyanide Online version of Bloodbowl, as the mechanics are pretty dreadful. Ronin has started looking into replacing it due to how bad it is (and how much it pissed him off)

I'd say not to let that discourage people, particularly.

I am in a grump with the game at the moment, but in the next month my capacity for alternate development is small (really need to get paid so all engines working on the project that'll get that done). That said, I've spent a few hours roughing out some alternative mechanics for a game currently codenamed RFL (Rough Football League) that would pick up more from the American Football school of tactics, focus on simultaneous action choices (an advantage of automation), and more calculable decision making.

Gift it to someone who won't accept it, and then re-gift it :)
I have a second Steam account just for this purpose :p I used it to host Aliens Vs Predator.

I blagged my friend into buying it, but thanks for the offer. :) Will be giving it a shot as soon as I get it downloaded to get ready for the next league. :3
