[Bugs: Major] Calender weirdness

Ok, so this is partly my mistake but an interesting development nonetheless

If you create an event which finishes at midnight in some places on the forum it shows up on both days (ie the front page of the site) however in others it doesn't (the calender and the posting pane)

Also it would appear i can't edit my own event so could some friendly admin type person set it to finish at 11:00 which is when it's supposed to finish :S

hmmm, thats interesting, apparently I set the wrong time zone or something....

the two PR Scrimage events are supposed to run from 6->11 in whatever timezone britain happens to be in atm (BST still i presume) if a friendly admin could fix this :D

Re: Calender weirdness

Yeah, I tried fixing this and it proves a second layer of weirdness.

First, I strongly suggest using the "Ignore DST" option as this helps. Otherwise, when you set an event in GMT it is really set in GMT, not BST as you'd expect. Second, the side bar does crazy-mad things with events that run to midnight, so I suggest running events to 23:59 instead.

I'll fix both. Just not quite yet.

Oh, and the problem is that if I edit your events then I also nuke the attendee list. Unforeseen issue, that. I'll report it and/or download a fix.

Re: Calender weirdness

Thanks ronin,

I guess nuking the attendance list when editing the calender times makes some sense, as people may no longer be able to attend, anyway thanks for all your time!
