[mod]Split from the Starcraft topic as this is a separate thread of discussion.[/mod]

There isn't a CoD2 forum as yet. As with anything else, if it becomes apparent we need one then we'll make one. :)

As for Duren, he's mostly offline at the moment. He'll be back.

Well i think it would be a good idea, many more people have it now, and we are already organising COD2 evenings so it would help.

the forum itself isn't really doing anything, it's the threads that count. if and when they become ample enough to warrant a forum of it's own we will make one for that purpose :)

I'm in support of gibson on this one. If CoD2 grows much more popular it could (almost) challenge BF2.

i very much doubt that considering 4 people showed at the CoD2 night and more people play battlfield just anytime lol

How many more CoD2 threads are needed to make a sub-forum viable?

At the moment, 8 out of 22 threads under 'other games' are CoD2 related, which seems quite a bit to me, seen as quite a few of the other threads aren't related to a specific games, i.e. the 'ultimate game ever made'. I was just wondering what sort of number of CoD2 threads would be needed to show a need for a CoD2 sub-forum? Not pushing for one, I was just wondering...

You'd have been as well posting this under one of the admin forums, however that's beside the point. :)

As far as I know, there's not a set number of posts per month required to maintain a sub-forum for a game - I mean, the mercenary lords forum seems almost entirely dead. I think it's more related to the number of people who play the game, rather than the amount of discussion points about it. Of course, if you were to set up a clan and participate in leagues, then I'd expect a COD2 Clan forum could be established, but it's a matter of how many people are interested in a game enough to post up about it.

Taffy,

At the moment I'm in a holding pattern before creating new stuff to see the outcome of the navigation poll and gather some more ideas. Once we've got a plan for that we can look at a forum for CoD2. It does seem to have some interest, that's for sure, and it's welcome to a forum if it can keep that interest rolling for a bit.

I am sorry to be a kill- joy my fellow COD2 lovers.. but honestly... really... i don't think we need a COD thread.. or Forum

The simple reaon is;

1: Not enough interest
2: COD2 isn't as big or as in-depth as BF2, which meens less to talk about
3: COD2 is better developed and tested before release so their is less stuff to nag about :D
4: I don't think.. honestly.. i would post on it
