what about level 3 with the self destruct thingy?
Do you really start with just a blue box with some stuff to the right?

If the game seems messed up, you might not have the newest version of flash. It needs AT LEAST version 8 (dunno if they have released a newer version yet). I had this problem to start with. Right click the game window, and go to "About Macromedia Flash x", where x is the version number.

5th screen walkthrough:
You have to be quick here. When he walks in, he picks up a bonus that you can use to turn him around. While he's walking to the edge of the ledge (before he runs into the wall and turns around) drag the loft down to the bottom. Then, you will notice that the wall at the end of the ledge is clickable. When you click it, that will go down and a ledge next to the lift will come up. This is where you need to be fast. Get him to the edge just before he falls off the left side and use the turn around item on him (select it and click on him) then, as quick as possible, click the wall on the right side of the ledge so it goes down and pushes up a wall on the left side. If you do it right, he will be pushed up onto the lift and you can then drag the lift up to get him on the top ledge to get an item which drops a brige anywhere you like. To use it, click it in the panel then you need to click on it when it appears at the top of the screen. I'm sure you can figure out where to put it

How to get past the spoilered bit at the top that wraith quoted:
You get a box to drop as you walk in. You have to (pretty quickly) drop the box so that the scissors will walk into the box and then turn round and fall down the hole... when they are gone you then use your jump to get over the box and walk over the ledge that appears.
