So although it's probably a bit too soon to have another guild meet, it's definitely not to soon to think about it. ;D

Reason why I'm posting this up is because A) I'm bored of Salisbury, and really need an excuse to bugger off for a weekend. ;D

But B) In the past month or two we've been dropping subscriptions like flies, I think it'd be pretty good to have another social event like that that doesn't involve something that nobody seems to want to do anymore anyway. :P

So I'm just putting this up to find out what the interest is like at the moment? Maybe doing something a bit later this year?

Count me in! Depending on where it's held and when, of course. If it's another one in Lincoln and it's some time in the summer, chances are Vel and myself can put up a bunch of people this time round.

Awesome. It probably would be in Lincoln, because unless I've missed something, that's still where a large portion of the guild is. XD

I doubt I'll be able to make it, this time... :( It would be fun if I could, but I don't think I can justify flying to England on a yearly basis...

So, with much regret, no from me.

On a possibly unrelated note, if any of you wants to come visit Lisbon, do pipe up and we'll make arrangements! :D

D: Sad to hear, but obviously with a family to take care of, it's completely understandable. Although I think one day a visit to Lisbon HAS to take place. :P We can all meet Mrs Zooggy and Diana. ;D

Dependant on when we do it i may be able to offer you a lift that way as Salisbury isn't particularly far from where i'm living at the moment. Couldn't offer it to anyone else though as someone thought buying an impractical car would be a fantastic idea!

Either way, choose dates!

ha, so far in this thread I have misread most of what peepee has written.

I read the above exactly as you did Vel :p

I also read the Can you put me up baby comment as can you put a baby up me.

In my head this meet is getting entirely out of hand even in the dyslexic planning phase.

Another meet in Lincoln? Oh hells yes. Whilst I suspect that we might not have as many people present as the last one, having any number of you mad bunch around again would be great. I can't speak for the rest of the Halls, but an arrangement akin to last time might be doable, and at the very least meeting up in the house would be doubtless be fine.

Also, if it does happen, we'd HAVE to get that barbeque out back properly sorted this time. Gatherings of friends in summer demands the sacred ritual of meat and fire!

And also more BLAM!

If by that point many/most of us aren't playing WoW, we could just call it a "tainted by Blizzard support meeting" rather than a "guild meet", even though we'll forever be guildies spiritually (and we'll likely forevermore carry the mental scars we've inflicted on each other)
