Cata Beta - NDA stuff

So, I don't know if it's a completely open beta or anything yet, but I've downloaded a portion of it, and played a bit.

Just wondering if I'm allowed to talk about / post pictures up yet? If so, I'll try and get some up.

It's a closed beta (Invite only.)

But SS's videos and stuff are allowed.

Right. Only just remembered to actually follow through with this, and as soon as I do, the world server goes down.

I do like the look of the new interface though; The character info screen for instance:

Right. Got on for a bit more. Sorted out my talents. Interesting the way they've done it. Most of my mage talents have completely changed, but that's class specific so I won't go into that.

The interesting thing is now you're FORCED to choose one specialisation (talent tree) and stick with it, until you get the last tier talent, which opens up the others. Of course, at this point, you have very few points left anyway.

This might sound odd, but it's nice to seen screenshots that aren't being taken by Boub or one of his fellow MMO-Champion peoples, or the World of Raids folk; they always take them on awesome computers with monitors big enough to make Batman think that his tech in the Batcave is beginning to fall behind. Seeing it on a smaller screensize (ie, closer to how it'll look for me) is pretty shiny.
