We haven't done Nef for a while so not just yet.
That said, we had such a good night that now it feels like we're getting somewhere and can get back to him and the never-actually-dying Onyxia.

We 1-shotted everything in BoT except for Cho'gall. With him we struggled for a bit but then were regularly getting to phase 2 - had him down to about 4-6% and then it felt like success was within our grasp. We came up with some different tactics that seemed to be working and just needed everything to fall into place. Focused but calm, we did it with all ten raid members standing as he went down. Woots a-plenty.

Although it was a bit like disorganised chaos at times, there was wailing and gnashing of teeth, some defeatist talk creeping in... but we kept at it and pulled it together.
For all the good and bad, this was one of those nights that makes raiding so much fun and so rewarding.

I'm pretty sure that someone (PP) promised us something if we killed him. What was that again? Could it have been something about flashing a couple of things?

I can't remember, someone needs to help me out on this one.

No matter what it was it sure gave us the spirit to down him! :D
