COD2 night, Where was everybody?!

Guys now im kinda annoyed, alot of people said they would be here and it was on the calender, but no one came!

Me and Nanor are trying to get together a group of COD2 players but how can we if no one turns up?

Im going to organise another one so only commit to it if your going to turn up.

Oops, looks like the event didn't have sign-up enabled. Once you've signed up to an event you can also ask it to send you a reminder email, which is pretty neat. That's something to look at for future (CoD2) events.

Gibson 4 out of 6 is pretty good for a first event.

It took a while to get BF2 going mate. Just be pleased with who turned up and keep going. Things take time to grow. As the events get more popular then more people will buy the game and get involved.

Yeah, sorry guys, it was my fault I thought that it started at 7.00pm and got mixed up to who was coming

Well at least we have 6 players ready to play, hopefully that will build up to around 10

The profiles stats I produced a week or so ago indicates that 10 people say they are playing CoD2. Now, if BF2 is anything to go by, you get around two thirds of those coming through to multiplayer. That's around 6-7 for CoD2 at the moment.

That's pretty decent going, actually. Regular meet-ups were one of the things that helped BF2 grow and be successful. Keep 'em coming and you'll get there.

I, the one who organised it all, admit to not turning up. BUT, I have my excuses. My internet just would not connect, claiming that my username and/or password was invalid. Im possible, becus i ave it saved so i just ave 2 click connect. I did not change it, now ave i changed it since, but now its connectin fine again. strange...

And b4 u ask, i wud ave typed it all in again but i dont no da password
Anyway i apologise to everyone, but i'll try ad ensure it doesn't happen again...

Dang. I forgot to put a reminder on my phone.

Im notorious for not turning up at events. If I had a better PC maybe Id at least have a bit of incentive for joining an event. *sigh*

You can click the "Request reminder for this event" button on the event in the calendar. That should help.
