[Cod4] Practice Sessions

Okay, These sessions are going to be based on the following sort of settings. This Event will be every wednesday
The practice games are going to be primarily for the I33 team- so we can make the THN name known -

NORMAL Mode. Not hardcore.

PAM 4 Mod with the "Crossfire" Settings. (I've got these all installed on the server, Just gotta get them running )

The maps we'll be using are :

• mp_backlot
• mp_crash / Daytime version
• mp_crossfire
• mp_vacant
• mp_citystreet / Distrct
• mp_strike

Tactics for each map will be stored in the CoD4 message boards when they're sorted so we're all sorts of secret!

The team consists of :

• Traxata
• Waterproofbob
• Emp3Danie
• Nanor
• Tetsuo

Reserves ( Currently don't have the game )

• Birdy
• Iron_Fist

quick point on this. Has the PAM stuff been sorted so that it is working as that has to have happened well before the practice. I know the PAM stuff is there but Trax said he wasn't sure how it worked.
Needs to be fully operational before we start.

The PAM stuff currently isn't there. Had a fight with it with Trax for a couple of hours this afternoon and it's not obvious what one does to make it work with a particular ruleset and, as usual, the documentation sucks or is totally non-existent.

Trax was going to speak with one of the iGi crowd to get some help but that's obviously dependent on them being available.

This doable without PAM for this event?

Yeah I can live with it tbh. Not a big deal just thought It'd be nice to have it there if possible so I can used to crouching again.

Server is now ready, running normal mode, with an S&D rotation, running the crossfire PAM ruleset. That was not easy.

Cheers to everyone that played tonight was good to get the PAM in place as it really made a big difference to how I had to play. Trax appeared in his element but that's because he sleeps with the iron sights so is as happy as larry.

Was good to get a group of us playing and if we can get danie to appear and Tets to remember (jokes) we have the makings of a good little team.

Unless anyone has any major issues I'm going to try to organise a friendly for sunday night as I'm not here at all from tuesday afternoon next week so it'd be good to get another practice/match before I run away.

Sorry guys, two excuses. One was that I was building my new PC at the time and the second is that I thought it was tonight (could have sworn our last practise was Wed and was being moved to Thur, my mistake)
