I'd been organising this for a while with "GBH4" but totally forgot to post about it on the forums partly because of a date to be set, When he comes online this evening I'll go about sorting out some times

To be overly honest, there are only 3 people that are any good in that community, and one of them is Kirby ...................

In a 2v2 I quite happily went around stabbing them in the back every 5 minutes

Who's server is it on? (maybe a little early to ask that I guess) Are we playing with ED rules, or at least some kind of restriction over the dirty weapons? Will PAM mod be on the server? If so then we can just set it to ED rules and ignore that last question. Will it be hardcore mode? (please no)

whats the issue with hardcore?

thats the only way i've played the game and I have to say i think all the extra stuff would spoil it

Tets, it'll be hardcore, our server runs it, their server runs it, so you've little to no chance of it being standard mode

That's gash, but nevermind. A CoD4 match is a CoD4 match, but I live in fear of the dreaded pistol snipers. Anyway, we've yet to decide on our map, and it'd be handy to give it a quick run over, avec haven and HotStuff, before we play the match.

Well, we should really be discussing the map in private, because kirby can read these boards and get his team prepared for it. I would certainly hope it is Search and Destroy, because I'm not wasting my time on any other gametype and I don't care what kirby and his iGi crew think on the matter.

It's a bit of a dance at the moment but it currently looks like I'm not in work on Monday next week so I may be around Sunday... but other stuff is going on at home that may mean Rojaws is out much of the end of the following week/weekend so I might prefer to spend time with her first.

So... tricky. Aim for 5v5, I suggest, and if I'm available I can sub or play if they have a 6th on hand.

I'll report when I know more.

That was our first serious scrim in CoD4. But, in general, it is usually that hard when we play team games against other clans. I think our old BF2 crew can probably attest to that.

ohh cool! If you guys still play BF2 and need another body I can get installed again, wasn't too bad at it, got to the ranks most of my mates were at in half the time lol..

You're not wrong there. I used to come away from the BF2 scrims feeling absolutely knackered. Worth it to see us at the top of the Enemy Down ladder though (shameless bragging on behalf of the BF2 squad)

On a side note, Ronin's right that some of us still play BF2 on occasion. If you have it installed and you catch me online give me a shout and I'll give you a game.

Best way to keep up with who around here is playing what and when is to get XFire and add us all as friends and also add yourself to the THN clan that has been set up on XFire. That way if anyone is playing something you can just jump straight in and join em.

You will find that most people who have xfire here have their XFire username as part of their profile. Also, you can check out the play finder to see what games people have.
