First off i would like to appologise if this is in the wrong place i did not know where else to post.

So I am currently arranging a css night with all my online friends where we all jump onto Teamspeak and go own servers all night or in turn get an empty one and pwn each other :p

I am hoping for this fun night to go down on Sunday the 5th of Feb but this may change so keep an eye out.

From the THN members i still have email addresses for there is an e-mail heading you way with information about this.

For those who i have never met in THN or didnt not get contact details for, you are more that welcome to join in the fun simply e-mail me at defsil1985@hotmail.com and i will reply with the final details when they become available.

Hope to see many of you there and hope to catch up with many of you.

Game: Counter-Strike Source
Date: Sunday 5th Feb (Possible Change)
Teamspeak Details: Will be made available when a date has been decided.
Reason for this: To have a hell of a lot of fun and catch up with some THN friends...and if im lucky i might get a few kills :P

Cheers

Hi Defsil,

First, welcome to THN. :)

Great to see some CS: Source enthusiasm. So you know, we have a forum for CS: Source. I won't push this thread there just yet so you can see this response as the forum is hidden until you subscribe to the associated usergroup. Once subscribed to one or more games usergroups, you can get involved in those individual sections.

We've split things up in this way to make sure that one game doesn't crowd out our other games and so people just see content for the games they're interested in.

Also, we have an event calendar that you can post events to. Any THN member is welcome to do so. Generally, we recommend posting an event up in the calendar, creating a thread for discussion in the appropriate forum, and adding a link in each to the other. There's a faq entry on this subject for future reference.

Small final note: I'd generally advise against putting any email address in plain text in a public forum (even under a link). Bots can and do pull this off to load into spammer databases, and you don't want that spam. :) I'll leave that to you to self-moderate if that worries you.

Again, welcome and I hope the CS: Source game goes well!

Hey Defsil,

Ditto what Ronin has just said - we've got a special CS:S forum but you'll need to join the usergroup first. Just click on the link provided by Ronin and select the button next to CS source, and hit join!

It's also good to see a match organised for CS, because it's been ages since I've played it. Unfortunately, due to one thing or another, I can't play online at the moment however I'm sure you'll be able to grab the attention of everyone else in the CS:S subcommunity. :D

Thank you both ive now subscribed to the css user group, as for the email address it is just used for games and general spamming anyway so more spam wont bother me. If you could move the topic into the css forum that would be great cheers :D
