Ahey, :)

Ok, so, moved by AcidK's repeated postings of Ctrl-Alt-Del comics, I was prompted to go and read the whole damn thing.

I'm having a blast, but there's one thing puzzling the hell out of me:

Who or what is Chef Brian, and why is every single comic featuring him a string of disconnected words?

Thanks in advance for your kind guidance. :)

Cheers,
J.

You too, huh? :D I started at the present day and I'm currently back to mid 2005 so far :p

I do this every 6months. Sit down and catch up. If I read them all at once I always want more so I get more enjoyment by doing at least months at a time. Except xkcd.

Well, bad (good?) news, it goes all the way back to late '02... which is where I started. I'm almost at Valentine's '07.

And by the way, for some weird and strange reason, those Valentine's comics are my favorite.

Cheers,
J.

Ahey, :)

Appologies for the double post, but, well...

I'm done...

Yes, one sitting...

I'm tired...

Must... sleep...

Will max out fishing some time tomorrow, then...

Cheers,
J.

Ctrl-Alt-Del comics are funny and worth reading from the first one to present day, and yes Chef Brian is funny because he is thge least sense-making comic character ever.

However, in terms of decent reading I read Least I Could Do comics: http://www.leasticoulddo.com

And beleive me, you'd need to read that from the start :P

highly reccommend "least i can do" :D.

Premise is a guy who basically gets away with almost anything :) Goes way back too.

They also do a wow/rpg comic called looking for group which you can get to at the top right of the least i can do page.

I would also recommend the order of the stick, especially since you mentioned you engage in role playing games. Click the picture in my signature and read that from the start!

Again agree on Order of the Stick :D.

I have a list a mile long in my favourites that i've mentioned a few times and there are definetly a fair few gems in there

Okay, thats a very short amount of time xD

To read the webcomics cover to cover it took me (and still reading them):

8bit Theatre - 2months
Least I Could Do - 4 weeks
Ctrl-Alt-Del - 1.5 weeks
Looking For Group - 1 week

Ahey, :)

I have to admit OOtS has its moments, but it's freaking huge!

As for Least I Could Do, I took a peek at it, but it utterly failed to impress me...

Tried xkcd as well, but it's fragmented and hard to "follow"... so I just go by every once in a while and read like the last ten or twenty and get a chuckle or two out of it... Seems to work, as there's not big continuity thing on it. :)

Right now, I'm following LFG, Dark Legacy and Ctrl-Alt-Del. Used to have VGCats in that collection, but I'm getting increasingly tired of it...

But my favorite is still GM of the Rings. Came to an end, though, as it was sure to happen sooner or later. :)

Cheers,
J.

Same here. Not only has the frequency become VERY intermittent, to the point where you are sometimes lucky to get one comic a month (on a weekly update schedule? - yea right), I also think that the quality has gone right down too.
