In Cryo Sleep
I'm having some trouble with my PC. It won't start properly. When I start it, it powers up, does something with the harddrive, and then nothing... Fortunately, my laptop is still functional (although its battery is messed up), so I can still game/browse without needing either my brother's or my father's PC. Still, I don't know what's causing this, and plan to just take the PC to the store where I bought it. Do any of you have an idea what this can be?

when your PC begins booting, try hammering the F8 key to see if Windows pops up with a menu allowing you to try booting into safe mode.

It never even gives a signal to the screen, so that's quite unlikely to work.

Sounds possibly like a graphics card failure then...

Check inside and try re-seating everything

One of the computers that came into the workshop im doing WE in had this problem. The problem was the acual computer was going "lol hai mr hard-drive, im not going to read you properly and give you no power 'cause your not really there."

Might be the same with yours.

Resetting the bios chip by removing the battery for about 10 mins on the motherboard may work.

Though be sure when u switch on that you don't let the computer load windows - ensure you set the clock in the bios first.
