In Cryo Sleep
Ok I have a problem with my PC, when starting up it comes up with NTLDR is missing.
I have checked cables for the harddrive and also I have no Floppy or memory stick it is trying to load from. the only other problem I can think of is it has become corrupt of some sort and I will be best of wiping the harddrive. can anyone think of another solution not so drastic I can try?

1) Remove all Disks and USB devices from the computer (except keyboard and mouse), reboot and see if it works.

2) Check in your bios that the disk boot order has not been changed. If it has then fix it and reboot.

3) Boot windows XP (via install disk) into the recovery console and try fixmbr (assuming its the only OS you run on that machine).

4) Install Linux

5) Absolutely last resort then re-install windows :)
