If those are ingame screenshots, and not renders, they look GOOD!

Indeed, it does sound good. But the Red Faction had destroyable terrain, but didn't use it effectively... I just hope that Crysis uses this interaction in a way more then just "LOOK HOW PRETTY IT IS!", as that will fade quite quickly.

If farcry was any indication, they're going for "LOOK HOW PRETTY IT IS!" and little more...

Well, Farcry started pretty well, and just turned a bit stupid when the
monsters started to appear

If you want a better look at Crysis, have a gander at Decky's Xbox 360 video that he posted. Theres a good bit of footage in there of the comparison between Crysis running on XP, and then on Vista (DX10).

its just cause your gelass about the steroids:p

[mod]Translation: It's just because you're jealous about the steroids.

Please take a moment to spell check before you post. It's not a race, you can post and be accurate too.

Just a quick image to show how pretty crysis is being made. Now, I'm a gameplay whore more then a prettiness whore, but MAN that looks nice...

To be honest, if it melts my retinas that would be great, but top of my list is for them to solve the perpetual problem of bodies sliding down hills. Now, I know that no-one has made it around to accurately implementing friction into their physics engine (at least in the case of material friction, to my knowledge) for a commercially released product, but if they could stop that, it would help to make the world more believable - mainly due to the fact that Far Cry was the biggest case of sliding hillitis i've seen. As far as gameplay is concerned, as long as they include a lot more 'Jungle action' this time around, it'll be just as good as its little brother - although by the sounds of things even that wasn't everyone's cup of tea. :)

fook me! that crysis image looks more real than the real one!
does anyone else think that?
i think that this game has alot pressure on it as everybody expects it to be better than Farcry, which was rather good.

I loved farcry and played it for ages, this stuff looks really nice, did anyone notice that in the current farcry you can create fox holes with grenades?
