If you read the linked threads you'd see it was actually Namco asking for us to prove the market was there..

Why not just play it on a platform it's already on?

Totalbiscuit answers that better than I ever could.

As for me personally: simply for better graphics, framerates and mouse/keyb controls.

Also, if it did happen and did sell well, it'd be a good boost for the platform, making more devs jump on board. Digital distribution is the future afterall.

The guys at work wont shut the hell up about this game. And its not just the usual "awww man now i'm presitge 10 in dark souls, i get an even shinier star next to my name!" Its actually gaming talk of a calibre i would consider taking part in. Which is quite revolutionary.
