Sundays seem to have been grabbed by Pirate for premade PvP goodness already, and Thursday evenings see Kelvarus and Syrena absent for their Dark Heresy campaign, but there's other group-based activities to do and other days free for them, so I thought we could perhaps work out the best days to make sure we're around at the same time for.
In terms of weekly activities, there are three major ones: crafting rifts, PvP rifts, and repelling zone invasions. The third one is something that can easily be done on your own over the course of a week, but the other two are ones that'd be best done in a group together in one big rush.
In regards to PvP rifts: for those that don't know, the Unseen give a quest for level 50s each week to seal five PvP Rifts, with the quest rewarding the biggest single infusion of favour, prestige (6k!) and Unseen rep you can get. Doing it in a group is pretty much the best way to go about it, regardless of whether or not the Guardians get involved.
In regards to crafting rifts: each character with a crafting (ie not butchery, foraging or mining) profession at 300 gets a weekly quest to craft a quest-only item from that profession, and in return they get a single epic crafter's mark and a special lure. You can do the quest for each crafting profession at 300 on each character, so 1-2 lures per week. The rifts are easy to anihilate at speed with a group, and everyone in the group gets rewards from it; thus, doing it in a group of 5+ means LOTS of rewards from Rifts that last a couple of minutes each.
Anyone interested in PvP rifting, go grab the "Lure of the Unseen" ability from the Favour Rewards guy in the Catari Command Centre, and shout out which days are best for you.
For crafting rifts; try to hang onto 3 Eternal Planar Dust per maxed out crafting profession on your characters so you can promptly make the lure every Wednesday. Ideally, we'd do the big group farm of these rifts on Wednesday itself, but we rarely seem to have everyone together online at the same time for it; can people turn up on Wednesday, or should we save it for, say, Friday?
