Those of you using linux (or wanting to) could do a lot worse than grabbing the latest copy of RR4 (a live DVD distro based on heavily optimised gentoo). Basically you boot from DVD and have everything that you would expect in a full install of gentoo sat there ready to be run. This distro also includes all the lovely new XGL (3d desktop) stuff which is good for those of you with NVIDIA cards but not so great for us ATI peeps (damn shitty ati drivers).
I've been using RR3 for a long time now and so I'm grabbing this as I type. Further details and a torrent link below:
