[DONE] vBulletin Upgrade

Everyone,

I'm looking at doing an upgrade of this board on Monday 28th August. Yep, that's tomorrow. There may be downtime while I do the upgrade... I'll probably active the "turn off this board" feature so that only Administrators can get access while I'm working. Safer that way.

There's about a million new features and some stuff I've hand-crafted may break, but I'm pretty confident that we can get the important stuff working inside of 2 hours and then the more cosmetic stuff around that.

Hopefully this won't cause anyone any trouble!

Turns out that I won't be able to do the upgrade today...

So, upgrade is now postponed to probably Thursday (31st) this week.

Providing that work doesn't interrupt me, I'm going to start gathering the bits and pieces I need to do the board upgrade very shortly. Once the upgrade is underway, I will close the board to everyone except Administrators. There'll be a little message saying what's going on and stuff, but it's a major upgrade so I need it to go ahead smoothly without weird mid-upgrade issues arising.

Insofar as I can tell, the upgrade should now be complete.

Everything I've tested so far appears to work. There's a bunch of new functionality across the board... so much so that I can't even begin to figure out what to tell you. If you're interested, go check out vbulletin.com's boards and have a read up on their 3.6.0 release.

Please feel free to poke at all the buttons and post in Hey Admins if you see anything that looks wrong, counter-intuitive or just could be improved. Any one of those might be a bug!
