Drums of Forgotten Kings: a warning to raiders!

A little something I noticed before the Festergut encounter in the raid last night with the second group is that there is a rather unfortunate bug with the Drums of Forgotten Kings when you have a Paladin using Blessing of Sanctuary in the raid.

First up, a little clarification on the two buffs:

Drums of Forgotten Kings = 8% all stats, a slightly weaker and non-stacking version of the Paladin Kings buff (which is 10%)

Blessing of Sanctuary = 10% strength and stamina, 3% damage reduction, mana restored when you dodge/block/parry

You would hope that if you had both, that that would give you the damage reduction and mana restore, 10% strength and stam, and 8% agility, spirit and intellect.

Unfortunately, this does not seem to be the case; the 8% stats override the two 10% stats of BoSanc, resulting in lower strength and stamina than you should have. I don't know if it also prevents the 3% damage reduction and mana restore, I have yet to test this.

TL;DR: in a group of any size where you have at least one Protadin tank AND you have someone using the drums, all tanks and strength-based melee should right-click remove the Blessing of Forgotten Kings 8% buff and leave themselves with the BoSanc buff for improved strength, stamina, and possible damage reduction.

It might not seem like much, but 2% more strength and stam on a tank, ret or dups warrior can make a LOT of difference, so don't forget!
