Dyslexics of the world untie.

Who ever decided to call it dyslexia is a genius, it's impossible to spell and is an anagram for "daily sex".

Have had a fair few dyslexic friends over the years, and I can't think of one of them who hasn't been a really sound chap (or chappette, in a couple of cases). And even with a few jumbled words/spelling mistakes, it's never a problem to know what ya mean ^^

Both me and my fiance are both dyslexic, t there is a difference between us. I was diagnosed dyslexic at the age of 12 and have learned to cope with it in my own way (ie, I don't take the support), whereas my fiance was diagnosed dyslexic at the age 19, not long after she came to university and only received university support for dyslexia (which is kinda crappy).

I've learned to cope with my dyslixia, however I still get what I call "brain freezes", where mid-sentance I will forget a specific word or name of something and wont remember until a good hour or so afterwards (or until someone mentions the word themselves).

Did I ever tell you about my friend, the dyslexic agnostic insomniac?

He used to lie awake at night wondering if there really was a dog.

Tell you want, there's nothing better than spending every winter watching your 7 yo sister, also heavily dyslexic, writing letters to Satan
