EA wants to know what you have installed and when you use it

Do you just automatically click "Accept" when presented with an EULA?
You might just want to read through them next time.
EA's Origin service wants to scan your entire computer, see what you use and when you use it then sell that info to other companies so they can try to sell you crap.

I do not beleive EA have been off my blacklist, I try not to like them as much as possible... this just confirms things

when your games going to be that good you can write whatever you like.

If anything its probably to protect them from cock ups, as when someone says "you software is doing this thingy that you said it wont/is not allowed" they can just turn around and say you agreed that we could screw up without repercussions when you installed it.
