Edge have their annual top 100 dangerous ideas published for 2006. Every year The Edge asks over 100 top scientists and thinkers a question, and the responses are fascinating and widely quoted. This year, psychologist Steven Pinker suggested they ask "What is your most dangerous idea?"

Blimey..
Quite a lot of food for thought.
Some of these idea's went way over my head, but its still a good read.
I thought the one on 'Nanotechnology' was incredible, and will probably be the biggest 'Life changer' in the next 100 years.

I think nanotechnology is an overrated buzzword for what is mostly ongoing improvements in materials science and chemistry, more advanced nanotech such as robots and whatnot is pure science fiction.
