I"m Getting this error all the time
"Minecraft Internal exception: java.net.SocketException: Software caused connection abort: recv failed"

Could you restart the server maby it helps.

i'm currently connected with no issues. apart from it being a little laggy which is probably cos i'm using the browser client rather than the desktop one, it seems fine.

could it be a mod that's not properly compatible with beta causing it?

I conect for like 1-2 mins and then the screen is getting black and i get that error.
It's Realy strange.

Is your Java up to date and for the correct platform (i.e. 32 or 64 bit)?

I have Version 6 Update 22 (Build1.6.0_22=b04)
that is the right one or?

Quick check indicates that Update 23 is the latest.
