For those who haven't loaded Steam in the last day, here you go! A short film based on HL2. The graphics are amazing. It's the first episode, another of which has been made by not released. The first 2 episodes cost $500 to make. It's awesome! I think a full length feature film by these guys would be great, seeing as it appears to NOT worry about Gordon, which would be the short-coming of any "major" studios making such a film.

Still. I really like it! More a trailer than anything, but it's nice.

Good combination of graphics and sound there. but they *need* to wobble the film less (assuming thats been done in postproduction). Its really distracting trying to focus on a specific point and having it wobble all over the screen! Especially in the scenes when theyre standing still!

And:
Filmed guerilla style with no money .... on a budget of $500.

Looks pretty damned good though. Make sure someone pokes when the rest appear.

I thought it was *really* quite impressive, and seeing as I usually find amateur/fan stuff a bit silly most of the time they did a great job! Me wants more!
