how did the ES night go on tues? I was at uni / gf, rather than being at home with my gaming hard drive, so couldnt come along.

It wasn't too bad once we started to get the hang of what was going on.
saying that every round bar one we did get rinsed by the bleed although it seemed throughout that we were doing ok. Tis a little strange, also the wonderful ppl we were playing with were very reluctant to the level of gangrenese horse scrotumness to help with even the simplest of requests, which seemed a bit odd considering the game is only in beta, but hey what can you do. Saying that once we all had the right version going it was quite fun.

My bottom still hurts from the spanking it received ... and I did well out of the group

It was fun but not addictive, worth experiencing but I didn't find much to come back to. Sadly the nicest bit is the HUD voice when you get in a cockpit and fly out of your ship for the first time, it all had a very retro Elite feeling to it.

Give it a blast for the hell of it but don't expect instant addiction.
