Eurogamer have buddied up with Ubisoft to deliver a web-based game inspired by Far Cry 2. It's called Jackal Hunt and the basic scenario is that you're thrown onto a map with (all?) the other players and you're given a target to hunt. Correspondingly, someone is also hunting you (but presumably not your target). You can see where your target is but they can't see you. You can't see the person targeting you but you can see the person who is hunting them so you can make some guesses as to the location of the person hunting you.
It's turn based, with one turn every 12 hours. There's equipment to pick up but the combat is pretty much getting in range at the end of both your moves and bang, they're dead. The aim is to be the top person, where you're no longer hunting anyone, just trying to stay alive. That makes you The Jackal.
