So, this was supposed to be the thread in which I was going to explain how and why I've come to the decision of leaving the guild. But it's not. After I made the initial announcement earlier today in /g some of the reactions have been very hostile, which has led me to believe that it would be a waste of time since no one would care about the reasons anyway. So yeah, I'm going to spare myself the effort by just skipping that part. I'm sure there will be plenty of name calling from various people anyway, sadly.

I would, however, like to express my great gratitude for the opportunities that I've been given and the friendships made (and I hope to keep those alive, even after leaving). A big thank you for the great time we've had together, and see you in Azeroth.

Well aslong as this isnt yet another case of "well ive got everything i can from this guild, so im going to another one" im ok with it.

Its just irritating to see one of our better players leave, which leaves us with one less Ulduar capable dps and means we have to try and find another.

Like Zooggy said, this also took me by surprise. I wasnt around when you said it in /g and I would have certainly tried to talk you into staying.

Well shit, I can't have that be my last message here. You guys deserve better.

The reason why I'm leaving is pretty much the same reason why Baeleth left a while ago. I've got too much spare time available for WoW, and with the new patch drawing closer, I'd like to be in a position where I can use that time to fully explore the new content (and even some unfinished parts of the current content).

I've had my share of small annoyances while in the guild. But trust me, they weren't the reason for my departure. I love you guys too much to break up over them.

So far I have only withdrawn the character I intend to raid with from the guild, Thunderflux. Which leaves me with a request, if it would at all be possible to "downgrade" myself to a community member of The Haven, and keep my (legion of) alts safely at (what still feels like) home. I'll humbly accept a denial, but if it is okay to have them stay, I'd be a merry man

And fuck, I'm gonna miss raiding with you guys every week.
